Organisational Structure

The organisation is lead by the Community Leader, also called "Chairman". This is a key position that will carry the responsibility for:

• strategy;
• vision;
• guarding of the principles;
• taking ultimate decisions;
• external relations;
• communication and presentation to the outside world

The Chairman:

• shall provide leadership to the organisation and, unless prevented by illness or sufficient cause, preside over all meetings of the Executive Committee and at all general meetings;
• organises meetings (agenda) and summarizes them at the end, encourages participation by all members and represents the organisation at meetings with others;
• assigns responsibilities over the key positions;
• shall have a casting vote;
• is a signatory to the organisation account;
• presides over all the organisation functions;
• coordinates all the organisation’s activities

The chairman oversees three so called "Areas of Attention, which have their own Officer, leading and being responsible for the activities in their area. These areas are:

• Managing the organisation
• Taking care of the community
• Handling all formalities

The Operation Officer is responsible for:

• day to day activities within the organisation
• all development projects, to improve the living situation within the community
• The KYF CBO carries out the following tasks:
• Operational Planning; developing and overseeing operational strategies to meet organisational goals
• Resource Management; allocating resources efficiently to support various programs.
• Quality Control; ensuring that all activities meet established standards and regulations.
• Performance Monitoring; tracking and analysing performance metrics to enhance productivity.
• Collaboration with Executives; working closely with top executives to align operational goals with the organisation's mission.

Taking care of the community

The Community Officer is responsible for:

• children
• girls
• boys
• women
• elderly

The Community Officer of KYF CBO plays a vital role in community engagement and support, particularly for vulnerable populations. responsibilities include:

• Mobilizing community participation; encourage local members to engage in empowerment programs and initiatives.
• Supporting vulnerable Children; oversee orphanage operations, ensuring the needs of vulnerable children are met.
• Facilitating communication; act as a liaison between the community and the organisation, fostering trust and understanding.
• Implementing programs; assist in the design and execution of programs aimed at improving community welfare.

The Formalities Officer is responsible for:

• finance
• legal
• administration
• certifications

The Formalities Officer of KYF CBO is responsible for:

• Bookkeeping; managing financial records, transactions, and donations to ensure accurate accounting.
• Legal Affairs; preparing contracts and handling legal documentation.
• Budgeting; collaborating with the chairman to create budgets for organisational programs.
• Fund Allocation; working with the operations department to allocate funds for approved projects.
• Expense Monitoring; ensuring transparency by tracking project expenses.
